Polish Nordic Walking Federation- the only INWA (International Nordic Walking Association) representative in Poland. This organization gathers 22 federations from different countries. With INWA's authorization, coaches and trainers from almost 40 countries, propagate this sport all over the world. Polish Nordic Walking Federation is the only association in Poland that developed official regulations for Nordic Walking Competitions as well as cooperates with excellently qualified judges entitled to conduct the Nordic Walking Events across the country. Academy of Physical Education and Sport

The Academy is a modern, two- department sport school. The wide-ranging teaching offer is addressed not only to students but also to graduates and all those interested in education in the field of sports, physiotherapy, tourism and recreation. The Academy of Physical Education and Sport actively cooperates with other universities in the country and abroad, participating in such programs as Erasmus and Cirius, as well as it has signs cooperation agreements with many institutions and sports associations. The Academy has very powerful settings. "The Jewel in the crown" of the university is the National Centre of Sailing and Water Sports in Gorki Zachodnie. This modern center owns a marina with spaces for 51 yachts and a complex of classrooms and laboratories for training purposes. The distinctive teaching object is the Congress Hall, which is actually, the whole complex of rooms with modern audio-visual facilities. The Sports and Entertainment Arena hosts events of high importance, and Athletics Stadium, modernized in 2009, has hosted Olympic legends such as Michael Johnson and Robert Korzeniowski.
